[Bug 573084] [NEW] application menu doesn't work

Problem: I just installed Ubuntu 10.04(CD image). When I click at menu
bar such as " Application/Place/System" it shows the drop down list of
items. When I release the left button of the mouse, the drop down list
of items will pull up.
