Sorry for my late answer.
Thank you for the remark.
You are absolutely right I can confirm that this is a Thunderbird issue.
I downloaded the original install from TB 2 and TB 3 from their home page and this feature was removed in Thunderbird 3.
How should i change the status of this bug now.
