i don't see a reason why 3.0.10 would be much slower; maybe you also got
an update for your graphics driver? Also consider to check if your
extensions cause this (go to tools -> addons and disable them for
instance).

Oh. we also have a moonlight plugin package in archive; consider to use
that instead of the extension you installed.
