I dont Know the exact word in in English, because  I use the german
version.

So I use the German expression.

When I click on Konto hinzufügen, then starts the so called Konten-
Assistent.

Neues Konto einrichten: E-Mail Konto
Ihr Name
E-Mail-Adresse
Pop
Globaler Posteingang deactivatet
Posteingang-Server Benutzername
Konten-Bezeichnung
Fertig stellen

When I then look under Konto Googlemail, I find no subdirectories like
Posteingang, Entwürfe, Vorlagen, Gesendet, Papierkorb.

Under Server-Einstellungen I cannot find a path like /home/ludger
/.mozilla-thunderbird/5it0chv1.default/Mail/pop.googlemail

I am also not able to change local directory afterwards
