Public bug reported:
On Xubuntu 8.04.1 with all updates, if a user "double-clicks" the close
button on a Firefox Window containing at least two tabs, or clicks the
close button a second time from an apparent lack of responsiveness
before the confirmation dialog is shown, when Firefox finally responds*,
the user will be presented with a number of confirmation dialogs equal
to the number of times the user clicked the close button.
Once the first confirmation dialog appears, Firefox will no longer allow
any further clicks on the close button, but will not ignore multiple
clicks on the close button before the first confirmation dialog.
Further, the second and any further confirmation dialogs that appear do
not match the first. See the attached screenshot.
*Firefox may seem somewhat lagging or unresponsive at times on much
older hardware, especially when using more tabs or websites that
extensively use multimedia.
** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
