I have the same problem with http://homestarrunner.com (which was
mentioned earlier).

Flash: Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124
Firefox: 3.0.3+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1


A workaround is to run Firefox in safe mode:
    firefox -safe-mode

If you run in safe mode and go to the site that crashes, it should load.
In addition, you can then close the safe mode Firefox, run Firefox in
"normal" mode, and go to the crashing site and it should still work. I'm
not sure what this is accomplishing but maybe someone can use this
information to figure out what's really going on.
