Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Upgrade from Ubuntu Gutsy, which was up to date, to Hardy Heron using
i386 Alternate CD only left one problem - Thunderbird which had
Lightning Extension installed seems to have been upgraded as well. But
when starting Thunderbird for the first time it reported that the
calendar information had been upgraded by a newer version of Lightning,
so will be disabled. Synaptic showed Lightning-Extension 0.7, so I
downloaded and installed 0.8. This starts up in Thunderbird but is
completely non-functioning, and I can't see any of my earlier calendar
entries. I vahe removed and re-installed both Thunderbird and Lightning
and always end up with the version-wrong-so-it'll-disable-lightning or
0.8 opens but does nothing.
