I can confirm it

I am having the same kind of issue with ubuntu hardy heron 8.04 running
compiz and with an Intel 945GM video card.

Desactivate/Activating Addons would reset firefox and fix the problem temporarly
A reboot can fix the issue temporarly.
Stopping Compiz Fusion DOESNT fix the problem.

The Window decoration going away seems kinda random.

I tried desactivating most addons (I kept the ubuntu addon that was
there by default) but the problem appearing again after a while. Right
now trying to run firefox without any addon.

Resizing and moving the firefox window do not work anymore when the
window decoration is gone. The firefox takes all the screen space when
that happens actually and firefox 'flashes' a bit when switching
windows/workspace.
