[Bug 221337] [NEW] copy/paste problem

The problem is next.

Let's say, i'm trying to copy internet address (or any text) from
firefox (or wherever) to any location, everything works smooth, until
the application is opened. If I copy a link address from firefox, close
it and then try to paste the address to wherever, it is gone.

So, if i want to copy any text, i have to keep the application opened
from where i'm coping from, otherwise i can't paste it to anywhere.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 LTS with kernel 2.6.25

Can anyone confirm this?
