It means this is not a bug, but something that isn't supposed to work in
the first place.

Maybe the "fix" is to make users aware of this, since the obvious use
case for installing FF2 will be to get certain extensions that don't
work in FF3 to work, and people will expect them to work with the
default state of FF2 unless told otherwise.
