Same problem. I'm behind a proxy server with authentication.

Firefox freezes a lot of seconds every action or link I take. Some times
freezes are too much frequently and I must restart firefox.

Ubuntu 7.04 with all upgrade + Firefox 2.0.0.6

Extension firefox:

Foxytunes 2.9.5
mouse gestures 1.5.2
Rubrika4vodafone 0.6.4
tabmixplus 0.3.6
