Today I've tried to update to version ubuntu7 from verision ubuntu5. It
was impossible due to an error:
/var/lib/dpkg/info/flashplugin-nonfree.prerm: 28: Syntax error: "do"
unexpected (expecting ";;")
dpkg: warning - previous script pre-removal returned error code 2
dpkg - trying to run script from new package...
prerm called with argument `failed-upgrade'
dpkg: processing error
subproces new pre-removal script returned error code 1
/var/lib/dpkg/info/flashplugin-nonfree.postinst: 107: Syntax error: "do"
unexpected (expecting "fi")
dpkg: error during cleaning environment:
subproces post-installation script returned error code 2
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I've translated it from Polish.
It was impossible even to remove old package due to it's bad condition.
package flashplugin-nonfree 18.104.22.168.0ubuntu5 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
