Should have checked the dependencies more closely before. I've now tried Gwenview too (has the same problem also), and these are the common packets for them all:
libc6
libx11-6
libxext6
libxi6
libxinerama1

And yes, I have two screens and I'm using xinerama, but the problem
remains even if I use my single screen configuration.
