I'm a Newbie, running Bianca Light, It's in hda2 with a non-booting Win
XP Pro in hda1 from which I'm anxious to retrieve data, Learning the
jargon of Linux is tricky.
I have just opened a link to YouTube, where there was a notice:
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.
I clicked that - soon Synaptic Package Manager opened, then Firefox crashed.
This happened twice. Report attached.
I have an underlying problem in Synaptic PM - it ran last night for several hours trying to install virtualbox (only about 11.3 MB) and ultimately I Quit - there was a warning message. Today I have tried to use it twice - once it gave me a command line to run, but I lost that, next time it said:
E: The package virtualbox needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it.
E: Internal error opening cache (1). Please report.
Will this serve as a report? [hda1 has Drive Letter E: in Windows].
