Is firefox-dbg installed? (that is the package with firefox debugging symbols) If not, please install it and run again gdb.
In your gdb output I don't see the backtrace.  Please, run gdb again with the debugging symbols installed and after the firefox crash type at gdb prompt:

(gdb) bt full 
(gdb) thread apply all bt full

And attach the results.
Or if you prefer attach the full crash report that should be located at /var/crash and we will retrace it.
