It is sad most of us thinking that this is a bug, it is only a marketing method that MS flex its muscle, the way that we can beat MS is to make Ubuntu OS simple with user friendly and best of all put the onus onto the users to maintain its effeciency by allow them to do update with clear instruction.
Once these support available, this will aloow vendors offer this simple OS attached to their products to compete against their competition.
Demands dictate supply.
