Thank you kfrance for reporting this issue. We get from time to time
this kind of reports that are always related (from retracing the
coredump) with flash player. You might want to migrate your flash plugin
to ubuntu's package flashpluging-nonfree because it may be more up-to-
date and tested.

Let's see what the retrace says.

** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided => High
     Assignee: (unassigned) => Mozilla Bugs
       Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: firefox
-
- Upon reboot firefox reports a crash but firefox didn't crash. This can
- happen every time if you don't close firefox and shutdown the system as
- I frequently do. Each time in the task bar I get a crash report that
- asks me if I want to file a bug. I have ignored it for some time but
- thought I would pass this along. Obviously this is not a huge deal and
- is probably expected but slightly annoying.
