Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

I am using fglrx, the proprietary ATI driver, set up by default for two
side-by-side monitors. When I turn on my laptop and it's not docked, I
only have the laptop screen. Never mind that the system doesn't
automatically issue xrandr -s 1... if I forget to do it myself,
launching firefox any number of times sends the process into some kind
of invisible limbo with no error feedback until I both "killall firefox-
bin" and do xrandr -s 1 myself.

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
