Searchmonkey v0.8.2 (long awaited update)

Dear Sirs,

As the original author of Searchmonkey, I am pleased to say that this
software is now back under active development. :-)

Searchmonkey v0.8.2 (the first of a new development surge) should fix many
of the long-standing bugs from v0.8.1 and furthermore adds French language
support along with some new icons that make the user-experience a bit more
pleasurable.

Please advise if there is a better way of notifying the package managers of
a new software update?
