If upstream does not provide a man page, it is up to you to create
one. Usually, if upstream is active, they will be more than glad to
assist you with writing the man page. If they aren't, you can base the
man page on the provided documentation (if any). The man page doesn't
need to be the next great novel. It just needs to outline the basic
usage of the program. Feel free to look at some of the other man pages
that are included in Ubuntu packages to see an example. [1] might
prove useful when writing the man page.
