rezound bug #1558155

Dear maintainers,
I wish you would consider adding gundolfk's patch for rezound bug # 
1558155:

This bug was about to make me give up on rezound.  I was spending more 
time waiting on hangs than editing sound.  After patch, full joy has 
returned.
