Hi,
first off, I'm happy that all motu-release members are ok to go for intrepid
as well. Imho it was a good working team during hardy, and has fulfilled its
purpose well.
Nonetheless, I believe it's also important to look at things that didn't go so
well, and I'd like to start this with some personal observations regarding
members of motu-release. Please don't get me wrong here, I don't want to
flame anyone here, as I believe all motu-release members did a great job, but
it's imho important to also point out what still could be improved. Everyone
please also post your observerations in regards to motu-release in this
thread.
So, that's what I've been observing:
Imho the most driving force of motu-release was Scott, thanks a lot! We
wouldn't have managed the release without you.
Cesare also did a good job at working through motu-release bugs, though
sometimes he was lacking activity. (not too sure why, my guess is that Cesare
felt he couldn't make a decisions for some packages. Hey the worst decision
is to not make one, and have FFe requests unanswered ;))
Sarah, while having great skills and knowledge, I've seen rarely activity in
regards to motu-release/FFe's.
Luke, the same I wrote in regards to Sarah applies as well.
So my question still stands: what do we do with motu-release for intrepid.
Subquestions are: what do you (members of motu-release) would like to add,
what did you observer generally in regards to motu-release, what to improve?
Finally, would anyone new like to apply for motu-relase, and what would he/she
think to add to the team?
Cheers,
Stefan.
