Management of Transcriber?

Hi!

I have problems with Transcriber, that I find reported in the bug report 
system in october (for instance, 
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/transcriber/+bug/155807). As 
there seems to be silence about this, I am wondering about the activity 
status of Transcriber, in Ubuntu and generally. Do you know about this? 
It is a bit uncomfortable to see bugs unattended to and not knowing what 
to do (I am glad to help as much as I can, though not a developer).
