Coming off the last MOTU meeting, I'd like to introduce the
ubuntu-cruft-buster team (complete with orange garbage icon action).

As the name suggests, the point of this team is to remove packages
from the archive that have been crusty, obsolete, buggy, or just plain
not useful. The general idea is if you know a package (such as
firefox2) that should be removed from the archive, create an inital
bug report for it, and subscribe us, to start working on cleaning out
that package from the archive.

In addition, I'd like to organize Removal Days, where we take a
section of the archive, break it up into chunks, and go through it for
packages that would make good candidates for removals and at least
file the necessary bugs if not do the complete Request for Removals.

For more information, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/CruftBusters

and our LP group: https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-cruft-busters

Hope to see some people join up and help clean up the archive overall :-)
Michael
