Maxima CAS TeXmacs Session Issue

Dear Ubuntu-moto:


I am using Ubuntu 7.04 (Xubuntu variant) with the TeXmacs 
1:1.0.6-10ubuntu1 (feisty) package. I am also have the Maxima version 
5.10.0-6ubuntu1 package installed. This combination results in a failure 
of TeXmacs to initiate a Maxima CAS session with the following status 
message:

"Package 'maxima' not declared"

The following sessions did work correctly:

Axiom
Dr. Geo
Eukleides
GNUplot
Octave
Python
R
Shell (bash)
DraTex
XYpic
