This seems to have been fixed earlier, when a lot of the string matching
was fixed (if you read through the linked bug report on bugzilla, you
will see a lot of links to fixed bugs describing similar problems. I
can't reproduce the bug and I don't think anyone else can either. Please
correct me if I am wrong.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: tomboy

  Sometimes, when I'm writing some text in a note, it becomes a link to
  a new, empty note. Just because, with absolutely no interaction on my
  part. I didn't ask for it so I delete it, but as soon as I start
  writing again, it gets re-created.
