Like Jacob, I'm a bit curious about why this would be delayed to beta-2.
As I understand it, the issue was packaging issue specific to
Debian/Ubuntu, and it breaks device support in Natty's default media
player.  Newer packages have been available for several days, so as a
user, I'm not sure I understand why they wouldn't be included in the
beta release.

Also, Banshee is following the Gnome release schedule, so Banshee 1.9.5
(currently included in Natty) is actually Banshee 2.0 Beta 1 -- an
unstable development release.  The latest version, 1.9.6, is a release
candidate.  Banshee 2.0 was scheduled for an April 6 release prior to
the UDS decision to include Banshee by default, so I'm not sure I
understand why any special measures would need to be taken to have it
updated to the final, stable version when that is released.  But maybe
I'm just not understanding the Ubuntu release process... :)
