I tried to reproduce this issue with banshee 2.1 but I am unabled to
reproduce it, seems like is already fixed in this release, by the way,
this issue looks very similar to bug 803928. Please can you try to
reproduce this issue using banshee 2.1 from ppa archive and then check
if this problem persist for you? Thanks.

Bug description:
On my computer (the screen resolution is 1366x768), if I resize the
play bar like in the screenshot 2Banshee_before_restart.png and
restart Banshee, the window is going to be bigger than the screen
(3Banshee_after_restart1.png and 4Banshee_after_restart2.png).
I'm using Ubuntu 11,04 and Banshee 2.0.0
