ceneketcham: I've also seen that warning, and I've also had problems
with sort fields not retaining their values.  I never made the
connection before, but if indeed that warning is related to the problem,
developers would probably benefit from that information.

I'm going to add your last comment to the upstream report, and I really
encourage you to add the the conversation upstream if you notice
anything else.
