Hi Petar,
In my suggestion, IPv6 is a prerequisite to be "country mirror", but
IPv4 also: It is not a question of stopping IPv4, but of offering both:
IPv4 + IPv6 (dual stack).
For your case, one solution could be to offer IPv6 connectivity via
another server in Serbia or outside Serbia. Concretely, if you wish, my
French server can host IPv6 for your mirror: Concretely add a DNS
record: AAAA 2001:860:f70a::2 on on174027.ftn.uns.ac.rs
This allows your mirror to continue serving IPv4 clients while allowing
servers that only have IPv6 to be able to access updates.
Cheers,
Vivien
Note: If you want to use my server for IPv6, I must first configure your
domain name on my server.
