Hello dear Ubuntu mirrors team!
We at Vilnius University would like to apply to become a secondary
Lithuania's 'country' mirror for Ubuntu, both, releases and archive
(lt2.a/r.ubuntu.com).
Our mirror is running since middle of July 2010 and we're aimed to be
providing stable and reliable services further. The mirror meets all the
required criteria, also uses push-mirroring mechanism for the entire
archive (using ftpsync script, being pushed from SE.a/r.ubuntu.com). It
serves the whole archive via ftp, http and rsync protocols through a 1
Gbps connectivity (expandable depending on usage).
The mirror's profile at launchpad:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/ubuntu.mirror.vu.lt-archive
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/ubuntu.mirror.vu.lt-release
Please feel free to ask if there're still any questions left.
Thanks.
