==========================================

On the 22nd and 23rd February 2010, the Ubuntu Manual project will be
hosting a 48 hour event using Lernid that provides information for both new
contributors and existing contributors.

Purpose:

"To provide information on the tools that the Ubuntu Manual Project uses to
help both new and existing contributors to better understand the workflow
process. This should enhance productivity and team communication, while
reducing interior support requests and overall improve the efficiency of the
team and the quality of the final product."

We'll run the 48 hours over IRC (in the #ubuntu-classroom and
#ubuntu-classroom-chat channels). Don't worry if you're not sure about how
to get on IRC; you can use Jono Bacon's excellent Lernid program to make it
easy to participate

Over the 48 hours we will hold two sessions of each class, at different
times, so that people from all timezones should be able to make it to at
least one class.

==========================================

I hope you don't mind but I've used the Learning team logo on a facebook
event page I made for this event. I asked Martin if it was okay, and he said
yep. The facebook page is:
