I tried to open odt file in open office.  But, only blank page is displayed
in openoffice writer.

My suggestion regarding using open docuements..  As far as i have observed,
any formats or technology will get established, only
when it becomes part of everyone's life.  Now, .doc file is the undeclared
default format for most of the corporates, and also for individual users.

So, if we still use .doc format, then we can never get switched to open
formats.  We should imbibe open docuement as part of our daily life.

The problem in pdf file is that once we export, we cant edit the file.  (To
my knowledge).

So let's use open office format itself, now.  whether its odt or any other
format.  Let's choose a common format for our communication.
