Here in Sydney, we say "wheelie bin" to refer to the big green bins that get
picked up by the garbage man. For bins inside the house, however, we
say "rubbish bin" or "garbage bin". We know what a "wastebasket" is, but the
term is seldom heard and is only used if it is actually a basket-type bin.
