de facto != more correct

This is not something I'm adamant about, however. I'm willing to stick with 
the status quo on this front.

The main term I would be interested in changing would be "wastebasket". At 
least in New South Wales, the term is not commonly used (although it is 
understood). I was thinking that "rubbish bin" or "garbage bin" would be more 
universally acceptable. Any thoughts on this?
