Installing Ubuntu on Sun Netra X1

Hi all,

I have a Sun Netra X1 server that I'm trying to install ubuntu on. The
problem is that Netra's have no disk drives and usually utilize network
install. It has two IDE hard drives. I took out the slave drive and
installed a disk drive but the box did not recognize it. Several people
adviced using an old
generation drive- probably manufactured beween 1995-1996. This did not work
either.  My only option now is to setup a jump box from which I can do a net
install. Anyone with an idea of how to setup an Ubuntu jump box?
