No, non è riconosciuto come AC97, e vuole i drivers proprietari di 
Conexant. Poco male, dissi io, dal momento che il Nortek Fast PCI 
richiede questi drivers, scaricabili su www.nortek.it...
Download, make &&make install: fin qui tutto bene. Poi lancio la 
configurazione, e nascono i problemi:

Esamino allora 'sto benedetto log:

Mah, dico io, forse è il caso di ricompilare il kernel, deselezionando 
da "Processor type and features" la voce "Symmetric multi-processing 
support", installare. riavviare, ma niente.
