At the Ubuntu IRC Council meeting last night it was decided to go
ahead and create this channel. We have done so - the channel is
#ubuntu-ops-team. The channel is invite only, and we would like to
invite all those with +v in #ubuntu-ops to join (Ops in core channels,
Community council). We will also invite representatives from larger
team and loco channels, as to facilitate the spread of information and
collaboration.

If you feel you need an invitation, please contact the Ubuntu IRC
Council by joining #ubuntu-irc-council.

We would like to remind all that this channel is specifically for
collaboration and co-ordination, not a place to vent or be non CoC
compliant. It is aimed to aid the spread of information to relevant
people, to help when dealing with users, to share ideas and thoughts
on how to be better operators, to help co-ordinate when large attacks
are made and similar items.

Regards

Jussi Schultink
Ubuntu IRC Council Chairman.
