Operator requirements and Launchpad import

Hi All,

For those of you that were at the Ubuntu IRC Council meeting last night
(minutes coming soon), you will have noticed we approved the new operator
requirements and application procedure[1], as well as the probation
document. [2] These will be reviewed in 4 months, after some testing. This
means we can now finally do the Launchpad operator import [3]. If you have
any questions about these, feel free to contact the IRCC on IRC
(#ubuntu-ops, PM or #ubuntu-irc-council), via this Mailing list or privately
via the IRC council mailing list.

Hopefully it all goes well and there are no hitches.
