[ubuntu-in] Ubuntu 12.04 on Macbook Pro 5,1

hey,
i am newbie  Will you please eloborate about "parallels"? I am confused
whether it is OS of linux or brand of computer or Virtual box etc. since I
have not heard about parallels.
