Using Cinnanmon since it's first release on Ubuntu 11.10 :) It's really
awesome. The recent release version 1.3 allows much more configuration
related to panel (and applets). You should definitely give it a try. As
of this writing the PPA hasn't been updated. Though you can download the
latest version  from Git repo. [1]
It also depends on Muffin. [2]
