[ubuntu-in] All hands on the deck!

Hello all,

As you all know, a few members of our community came forward to
re-design our community website at ubuntu-in.info to make it more
user-friendly and attractive.

There was some discussion on how to do it on this mailing list.
Subsequently, we formed a wiki page [0] for creative collaboration,
a launchpad project [1] for hosting the code and also a launchpad
team [2] for co-ordinating the efforts.

We have already started the process by putting our ideas at the
wikia.com. However, we need support and contribution from all the
members of the community. After all, its a community website and intends
to cater to everyone using or wanting to use Ubuntu in India.

Contributing is very easy. Just let us know how you would like the
website to be or what feature of the existing website you do not like.
For this, you can either email your suggestions on this mailing list
itself, but it will be better if you file a bug at launchpad bug
page [3].

If you are a creative person or a web-developer and would like to
contribute to the actual development of the website, nothing like it.
You are our hero! (or heroine - being politically correct is very
important now-a-days :D ). Just head over to the wiki page [0] and start
contributing. You can also brainstorm ideas there.

So hoping to see you all help make a rocking community website!
