[ubuntu-in] [LUG at IITD:7775] Connection timed out in firefox in Lucid

Finally Problem got resolved.


Today I went to my brother's flat at Bhopal I found that If in Network
Manager Applet If we put DHCP then Internet won't work. When I set Mannual
IP configuration , Internet start's working.
I stil unable to understand this. I have checked ifconfig and resolv.conf
and other things too. But the system get IP from DHCP (Airtel broadband
modem), Firefox unable to open any website and show a "Connection timed out"
message.

This is something very wired..
just to add :  the network interface card is RTL3189 Ethernet.
