[ubuntu-in] Claws Mail

Hi

Am interested in knowing more about claws mail, from people using it.

Have heard good stuff about it and am interested in using it.

My problem is a long running one - where email clients are tending to
give up on my gmail account after some time - means downloading stops.

However using a  script from
http://toroid.org/ams/etc/gmail-imap-mirror to download 5 GB of my
gmail to an offline folder

now i want to get claws to import and cannot find a way to import
Maildir. So advice would be very welcome
