Wow, thats tonnes of experiences already,

Wanted help to figure out the how to move a persistent /home from ext3 to ext4

Issue is that i have home on a separate partition and its ext3 - with
every new install so far i have allowed the OS to jst continue using
this as my home (occassionally deleting all the hidden files to
refresh the config files)

so whats the best way to move to ext4
i sppose copying /home to a bakup disk - then formatting /home and
then recopying the data will probably be best and safest
