[ubuntu-in] Firefox in ubuntu: online transactions

Hi! all
I am having a dell vostro laptop which had come with Ubuntu 8.04
preinstalled. Since then I have been a fan of Ubuntu and using it as the
(almost) only OS and also recently upgraded to Jaunty.
 I tried paying my BSNL landline and mobile bills online using Firefox 3.0.
I could complete my landline transaction, but not my Cellone using firefox.
I also tried user agent switcher( Internet explorer) . Ultimately I
succeeded using windows xp in  virtual box(using IE of course). Has anyone
else in this forum faced a similar issue.
