[ubuntu-in] Need to use Ekiga but firewall prevents it

Hi

was trying to set up an Ekiga VOIP chat account but my firewall seems to
prevent it from accessing the net (am using firestarter)

so is there anyway to allow ekiga to get through or do i need to keep
turning firestarter off ??
