Agreed i think this is the problem but cannot figure out what

The wifi router itself does not have an option to pick up a DHCP ip
from the BSNL modem - so i ahve to set it by hand
this time i set it at 192.168.1.1 (but this would conflict with the
BSNL modem which is also 192.168.1.1)

The LAN is set at DHCP but starting from 192.168.1.200 (for five
addresses default is 50)

Any idea what the default login is for the BSNL modem -its a UTstarcom
Eth+USB+ADSL2+router

i cannot seem to access this router though am sure the login was admin
and pwd was admin - so not sure whats happening now
