[ubuntu-in] How to setup ADSL broadband in bridged mode on Ubuntu

can someone pls guide me to running my adsl router in bridged mode in
ubuntu.
the router runs perfectly in pppoe mode, but i want to run it in bridged
mode. because my IPTV works correctly only if router is in bridged mode.
have used bridged mode on windows XP.
