ah , thats an old debate, forum or list - both have their advantages and
disadvantages. and i am not sure which is better,

I like the mailing list because its login independent and don't have to keep
visiting a site to communicate / interact and even if i were to become a
forum user would prefer to have the mailing list as my primary contact
medium.
